Karma City Exiles formed in May 2003 and have since released 3 self financed EPs (the first of which, Big Mistake, gained airplay on the late John Peels Show !) . Initially the early work was bordering on indie shoegazing ground, then into the more anthemic indie/rock field and more recently the songs have grown in stature. The new material has elements of Janes Addiction/Alice In chains/led Zeppelin with the old groove based ideas still intact. The change in the sound is barely recognisable from the old and has given the band a new lease of life. With the once angelic frontman Davy C now sounding like he is in a tussle with Chris Cornell and Perry Farrell and Sergs guitar going from his trademark "The Edge" style riffing into Jerry Cantrell territory ! The most recent recordings have seen the out with the old in with the new mentality and the closing of Chapter one of the band as we know them.

Nearly there!

In what can only be described as "incredible periods of inactivity" the two naughty boys behind Listen To have finally got their fingers out and created the all new Listen To Manchester. Over the next few months we'll be adding loads of new features, but we'd love your help with the site as it stands right now.
