While considering how to describe moments of flow, streams of consciousness and fluctuations of thought, lead singer and songwriter Gary Phethean invented the term Phre the Eon and continues to create a poetic, cryptic but memorable collection of indie pop tracks.

“It’s an oversaturated environment with far too many people grooming themselves to appeal to the masses in an attempt to attract record labels, in essence a lot of people fake it, some of them unfortunately don’t realise, or they just forget, that being in a band should be fun. We know from experience that if you stop trying to impress everyone else and take the time to enjoy your creativity for what it is, then things suddenly become much more natural and enjoyable, not contrived and over analysed but instead pleasurable and ultimately memorable, that’s the way music should be. Everyone should Phre their own eons and enjoy it!”

"We strive to write fantastic songs and we continue to push ourselves…. We are taking a journey..not to other planets or around the world.. in fact we’re not going far, maybe just to the local supermarket for some milk, bread and maybe a couple of beers (if they have any decent offers on)… your welcome to join in, come along, we’ll have a laugh either way…
