If the entrance works on fliers for invites, then that’d be great. If you’re going to be reliant on people paying for you to get something back from the venue, then i’ve got no problem with paying.

Need sleep tho now - just landed from Kos at 4:30am and the cases were nowhere to be seen…. and i’m going to Leeds festival in a few hours.

Hiya,

It’s not a problem at all, just that i don’t think it’s necessary at a gig when you’re there to get your songs out to the public. I can appreciate it’s going to be bloody frustrating, but by the same rule, a fair few innocent people ended up leaving early, which is a real shame for you guys.

I think you’ve got a good sound, hence me going along in the first place after hearing your uploads on ListenTo. I agree that people shouldn’t be at the front if they’re on their phones - partly with it being offputting, and partly because it shows a lack of respect. Free or paid shouldn’t need to come into the equation; a gig is a gig.

I’m a firm believer in trying anything twice, so I won’t let Saturday stop me from coming to see you again!
