Blindride‘s recent material has shifted toward the dancefloor with four to the floor beats and subtle electronica, since they became an intriguing bass-less trio this summer. The search for their Holy Grail had seen them in various line-ups, but throughout various points of alignment, they have always focused on the core creativity of vocalist/pianist Kevin Wardman, guitarist Jamie Moore and drummer Paul Worth.
Blindride cited a wide range of artists as their inspiration, including Elbow, with whom they share their residence of Blueprint Studios, and The Smiths, whose ex-manager Joe Moss, has recently added to their growing number of interested listeners.
