BIO -
Fabonacci are a five piece band who are sick of writing biographies in the third person.
We play piano and guitar driven songs combined with something of a spaced out, dubbed up ambient twist.
Luckily and in spite of our basic line-up, we don’t dream of sold out arenas, so haven’t transformed into Travis or Keane coffee table sound-a-likes.
Most of us prefer much dirtier music like Nirvana and Sebadoh, or music that pushed the boundaries a little, like Massive Attack or The Beta Band.
Our main songwriter does keep us squarely on the classic pop music track however, with debut material released in February 2007 on the ‘Exits EP’ drawing comparison with the pre techno-freak-out works of Radiohead, Elbow or the Doves.
The follow up the self released Exits’ EP (available via our website and Myspace) will be released in August, and the band will be gigging the UK throughout 2008.
