When choosing a band name, the idea is to find a name that is synonymous with the music you create. Grand Canyon hit the nail on the head. They are, without exaggeration, huge. The sound was massive, even in a small, acoustically challenged room like the one in Jabez Clegg. You can only imagine what this band will sound like in bigger venues.
If you get the chance to see Grand Canyon live, do so. I’ll bet my Download tickets that you won’t be disappointed. Come in for the opener and you won’t leave until the set is over and Scars Of War is still ringing in your ears. Booking agents, take note.
