Hailing from Manchester and named after the last Beatles song to be recorded by all of the fab four together in one room, Hey Bulldog’s music could simply be labelled as guitar driven rock ‘n’roll, but the debut e.p. shows a great depth of influences and song writing ability, from the 60’s pop of “Wait Now”, to the country psychedelia of “I Dream of Freeways” and the hard rock of title track “New York City Blues”. As Guitarist/songwriter Rob Manton puts it “Its not about being part of a trend or a scene, it’s about making good music”.
