Formed in the summer of 2008 Lostrites have been a constant evolution. They have been in search of the line up that would allow them to combine their diverse musical influences. After a long search of 2 years, founders Mike Boote and Jonny Banyard have settled upon such a group. Playing everything from metal, reggae, hip-hop, drum an bass and most things in between. After storming the Stumblefunk tent at this years Beatherder festival and Bomfest in Barnsley they are building a reputation as one of the most energetic and exciting live acts in Manchester. Drawing in crowds of 400 plus at the up and coming hot venue Antwerp Mansion in Manchester and collaborating with the management to renovate the building and draw in new and exciting live acts to the venue, the Lostrites crew have their fingers in a multitude of musical pies! Vocalist Kathika Rabbit co hosts, performs and promotes legendary Manchester and Cumbrian club night Monster Monster and has performed alongside such acts and DJs as Krafty Kuts, Freq Nasty, Aquasky, Barry Ashworth and Mc Sirreal. The band have just got to the Semi Finals of the Sky Showcase competition The Source and became one of the shows favourites, performing frequently for TV. They have also just forked out for a tour bus and are ready to set off on an expedition of epic proportions, busting ears, melting faces and making even your nan dance! With their shiny new tour wagon fuelled up and ready to Lostrites are ready to make your brain go fizzy and your body jump, wiggle, stand up, sit down, shake it ALL around!!!!

Catch lostrites over the summer at these festivals: Beatherder, Bomfest, Kendal Calling, Boomtown Fair.

Nearly there!

In what can only be described as "incredible periods of inactivity" the two naughty boys behind Listen To have finally got their fingers out and created the all new Listen To Manchester. Over the next few months we'll be adding loads of new features, but we'd love your help with the site as it stands right now.

So if you spot any problems, or have anything to say at all about the new site (comments, criticisms, great ideas that we can steal and become millionaires with) then get in touch!
