Jonny Boxall and Shaun Glowa knew each other through attending the same high school in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Last year saw them resolve to start a band together. After picking up their instruments and spending time with various other members, the band finally came together when they asked guitarist J Hughes from Manchester who they had met through studying Art at college in Oldham to join them on bass. We became a three-piece soon after and things started to happen, sounds started to form and instrumental ’songs’ began to come together. Eventually J accepted vocal duties and began putting words to the noise we were making. We play what we feel like playing and our sound grows and changes as we improve as musicians and as a band. The words are about whatever you take from them. If we’re about anything, then it’s being ourselves.
