Risa is from New York and her music has been described as original, energetic with an alt-pop edge. She went to the same High School as the Ramones and Simon and Garfunkel and was friends with the Ramones.

She has a career in theatre, television and voice overs and is currently the voice of IBM e-learning as well as appearing in the Broadway cast of Grease and The Heather Brother’s musical with Sinitta in London. Risa has also played Mae in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof No. 1 national tour.

Risa has written an album’s worth of material and will be gigging regularly at the Met, Bury starting Jan 19th supporting New York songstress Jess Klein.
