Skankadelia is a ska/pop band from manchester U.K. The original members formed Skankadelia during their second year of study at Leicester college in 2005. During those years Skankadelia played an endless amount of gigs on the local scene and throughout the midlands. In 2006 Skankadelia played at the Glastonbudget festival alongside ska legends, Bad Manners. In 2008 the band recorded the Distinct Lack Of Secrecy E. P and started a 2 year hiatus as the members decided to partake in different pursuits, some members carried on with education, some pursued professional careers in different areas and started families but all left with the same idea that they would be back to carry on with Skankadelia. In 2010 it was decided that Skankadelia would return and are now currently writing new materials, looking for gigs and endorsement
