The Star Fighter Pilot (a.k.a. Manchester’s Martin Bryant) has spent the past few months converting people to his own brand of twisted electropop via two low-key EP releases. With 8/10 on Drowned In Sound, 5/5 and ‘Demo of the Month’ on High Voltage as well as lots of very positive public, press and industry reactions his recent ‘Alkaline Maisonette’ EP has certainly turned heads.

Combining the harsh electronics of Kraftwerk with the pop sensibility of the Super Furry Animals and lyrics that set the world to rights on everything from animal maulings to happy slapping, The Star Fighter Pilot has built up a cult following in Manchester. Electrifying live, with or without the troupe of dancers who sometimes join him onstage, he’s well worth catching

Hopefully catch you on the 28th at the Dry Bar - like what you’ve uploaded so far - brightened my day at work despite the drizzly weather outside

Nearly there!

In what can only be described as "incredible periods of inactivity" the two naughty boys behind Listen To have finally got their fingers out and created the all new Listen To Manchester. Over the next few months we'll be adding loads of new features, but we'd love your help with the site as it stands right now.

So if you spot any problems, or have anything to say at all about the new site (comments, criticisms, great ideas that we can steal and become millionaires with) then get in touch!
