‘Studio Monkeys are a great live band, their big sounding intro’s are the foreplay and the atmospheric, melodic choruses are the sex, and when every song finishes you’ll need to light up a ciggarette. I was one of the crowd that departed on principle. My curry in Rusholme was nice and soon took my mind off the feeling of emptiness. In contrast, i thought the music I was there for was good - no complaints there.
Confettikid Monday, 14 Aug 2006	Swiss, you better make sure you don’t stand at the front with a mobile if you go and see this lot…………the music is all that matters, and matter it did. It’s a nice change to see a band being passionate about what they do and not just go through the motions. Well done SM’s.
