The Barefoot Dancer is the brainchild of 35 year old veteran singer/songwriter producer and multi instrumentalist Anthony Thursfield. Formed somewhere between 1990 and 1993 after having a ‘what the fuck am i doing here’ moment when sitting in front of a computer in a dull office, Anthony subsequently did a BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology at Preston college, had a year out, then A BTEC Higher National diploma in music production at Newcastle Upon Tyne college, amassing studio gear bought with money saved from working through college and student loans.

Having spent years locked away teaching himself to sing, play guitar, keyboards and drums, write songs and produce them, The Barefoot Dancer is now ready to release his music into the public domain.

In what can only be described as "incredible periods of inactivity" the two naughty boys behind Listen To have finally got their fingers out and created the all new Listen To Manchester.
