The Phonophobics formed in September 2007, in Bolton, originally as a 5 piece, which became a 4 piece and more recently they have become a 3 piece, but this has not affected them in any way shape form possible.
They continue to write upbeat catchy rock songs, with a hint of each band members influences shining through each song. With influences such as Muse Radiohead and the Foo Fighters they are bound to be a band to check out and keep listening out for.
Although they formed in Bolton they practice in Warrington and overall would call themselves a Manchester band, as each member is from one of the 3 so what better City than Manchester to base themselves from.
The Phonophobics attempt to create their own unique sound, which captivates their audience and leaves them wanting more and more… So check them out and make your own judgement spreading the Phonophobia!
