Tracey Browne has been writing, recording and performing original music professionally since 2001. She released her first album in 2003, and trained as a recording engineer and producer at Airtight Studios in Manchester. She fronted rock band ‘MinusOneRaver’, was a founder member of ‘Becca and the Broken Biscuits’ and toured Europe with indie band ‘Windmill’ before taking the decision to concentrate on her own career.

The forthcoming studio album, ‘Everyone Is Ordinary’, will feature 11 original songs, comprising of 9 brand new tracks and 2 re-workings of previous EP tracks ‘The Cat and the Moon’ and ‘Paradise Found’. The album was recorded at St Wilfrid’s Church in Northenden, and Airtight Studios, and is produced by Nigel Stonier (Thea Gilmore, The Waterboys, Fairport Convention). Guest performers include Thea Gilmore and Becca Williams (of Becca and the Broken Biscuits). The album is being mixed by Tom Knott (The Earlies, Paul Weller, Plan B) at Airtight Studios.

Tracey performed at Glastonbury and Latitude festivals in 2011, with Thea Gilmore, and will be touring her own album in the near future.

Nearly there!

In what can only be described as "incredible periods of inactivity" the two naughty boys behind Listen To have finally got their fingers out and created the all new Listen To Manchester. Over the next few months we'll be adding loads of new features, but we'd love your help with the site as it stands right now.

So if you spot any problems, or have anything to say at all about the new site (comments, criticisms, great ideas that we can steal and become millionaires with) then get in touch!
